How to Stop Smoking at a Convention or Trade Show

Hi, my friend - If you want to know how to stop smoking at a convention or a trade show I think I can help. My name is Bill and I'm an ex-smoker. I quit smoking about 15 years ago. I have over the years had the occasion to go to quite a number of trade shows and conventions and I remember very vividly when I smoked how it felt. First of all, depending on how I traveled to the convention or the trade show, I had to worry about smoking during my journey. In a number of cases, because we had to go to several shows, maybe about five or six hours away, it was not uncommon for some colleagues of mine in the area to rent a van, and travel together. There were a number of non-smokers on the trips, so needless to say, unless we stopped somewhere to get something to eat or go to the bathroom, the rest of the time driving I could not smoke. This gave me a lot of anxiety and made me very uptight inside. The whole thought of going to a place that's not where I worked and not where ...

How To Stop Smoking at Disney World

If you want to know how to stop smoking at Disney World, then I think I can help! As you can see, my family and I are pretty big fans of Disney,  and to back that claim up, here's Cinderella’s Castle which I keep right on the top of my arm! (shown in the video!) It serves as a constant reminder for me to “Believe” that most things are indeed possible. Anyway, my name is Bill, and I'm an ex-smoker and have been an ex-smoker for about 15 years. If you would like to quit smoking at Disney World or Universal Studios, I think what I have to say can help you. I remember going to both wonderful theme parks, probably more times to Disney World. I remember going to Disney World as a smoker and remember that we were lucky enough to go several times, and each trip would be several years apart.  Originally there was a fairly easy policy about cigarette smoking in the theme parks and resorts, which changed to virtually no place to smoke cigarettes on Disney or Universal properties....

How to Stop Smoking Before Starting a New Job

Do you want to stop smoking before you start a new job? If so I think I can help. Hi, my name is Bill. I'm an ex-smoker. I stopped smoking about 15 years ago. If you are in a position like many of us have been at different times, when your employment changes, you might very well find that cigarette smoking may not be allowed. I believe that these days, it is a little more common for younger people to change employers than it might have been in my era with other baby boomers we tended to stay in jobs longer. There’s nothing wrong with changing jobs, as I know people move to different employers for many reasons. They move to different physical locations, they change for better pay, they change for better, working conditions and for many other reasons, but if you are a smoker, you know that taking “smoke breaks” may not be acceptable to your new bosses, or even coworkers. If you are a smoker, it kind of comes with a certain amount of baggage when you change jobs. You may have had a ...

How To Stop Smoking Before Buying a New Car

If you want to learn how to stop smoking cigarettes in a new car, I think I can help. Hi, my name is Bill. I'm an ex-smoker. I quit smoking about 15 years ago.  I remember what it was like the first time we bought a brand-new car. It was in the late 80s, and we got a brand new Plymouth. It was the first new car we ever owned. At that point, my wife and I had two children, and we needed to have one new vehicle that could get us around safely and dependably.  I remember what it was like as a smoker, and I didn't want to smoke in the new car. You probably know that one of the best things about having a new car, other than the fact that you have a new car, is that every time you open the door for probably that first year or so, you open the door and you get that smell of the new car. It just feels great and makes you feel good inside. They even make air fresheners that have a new car smell. No one wants to open the car door in the morning - and we've all done this as smoker...

I am an Ex-Smoker!

Hi, my name is Bill, and I'm a regular guy. I'm also an ex-smoker.    I have something that I think you might want to hear. About 15 years ago, I decided to quit smoking. At the time, I decided to take some logical steps and jotted everything down , which is the critical thing here. I documented when I prepared to quit when I stopped smoking, what I did and how I felt. It's been almost 15 years, and I never looked back.     When I quit, I commented to people around me that if I had known it would be this easy to stop smoking, I would not have smoked as long as I did, which was literally decades. Now, as I'm getting near retirement, I thought it would be a good idea for me to put all this information together in a program. It would make it easier for other people to quit too.     Considering the cost that I see today to smoke, which is just shocking for the price with the tax of a carton of cigarettes, the cost to purcha...
