How To Stop Smoking Before You Become a Parent

How to stop smoking before you become a parent

Hi, my name is Bill and I'm an ex-smoker. I quit smoking about 15 years ago and I remember because I have four children and six grandchildren, I have some regrets.

Unfortunately, I was a smoker for the birth of all four of my children, but let me tell you what some of the memories I have is like, and how you might want to change things for your children.

My oldest daughter is now in her later 30s, so this is some time ago. but when she was born, my wife and I were younger parents. Smoking was somewhat more common and as it ended up at the hospital, my wife ended up in the one maternity room that had 4 beds. The others were full and the only space available was this room. My wife was in a room with three other women.

Of course, the nurses bring the babies into the room and they are there much of the day. Our daughter plus three other innocent, tiny babies.

After a period of time, I vividly remember that I wanted to have a cigarette. I asked, and one of the nurses said they didn't have any ashtrays in maternity, but she said she would bring me an empty soda can, and I could use that as an ashtray. In the hospital room!

I was allowed with the assistance of hospital staff so of course, I smoked in that room with my wife and three of the women with babies coming in or out.

I should also note that my wife has always been a non-smoker. Good for her!

Some of the other women in that room smoked cigarettes as well. As I remember, at that time the only rule that the hospital had against smoking was that you couldn't smoke in any elevators. Other than that, there were public ashtrays in the hallways. We've come a long way since then to protect non-smokers!

Thinking back, we had the car seat in the front seat of the car, a full size Chevy Caprice convertible, which was legal for car seats back then. I remember driving home from the hospital with our newborn daughter in the middle, a proud dad all excited about how my whole world had changed for the better!

Then here I am, driving along and having to have a couple cigarettes on the ride home because it was a 40 - 45 minutes ride from the hospital with traffic.

The last thing anyone should really want to is smoke around their baby or children, for all the health reasons we all know.

If you are a parent, do you know that feeling when you look into your new baby's eyes, or your children's eyes for that matter, and you see all the potential, all the future, and all the opportunity they have? The last thing you want to do is bring smoke into their lives at that age. I regret that I did this over time to my children, and because of that they did have more than their share of various colds, infections, and other health issues. Three out of the four needed to have their tonsils taken out.

There are many times that I wish I could go back and do that over again. I assure you it would be much better if you're going to be a first-time parent, or you're planning to become parents again, that it is much better to quit smoking ahead of time!

I wanted to share with you that at the time that I decided to quit smoking, I did something a little unique. I decided to document what I would do in preparation to stop smoking, the actual steps I took when I quit, and how I felt, as well as how I felt after I quit smoking.

By documenting all the information at that time, I thought it would be very helpful to others. I decided now that I'm getting closer to retirement, I would put this all together as a program, and make it available to help others. It will cost you less than the price of a carton of cigarettes in many places around the country, and because it worked for me, I think it will work for you too!

Now, 15 years later, as I get near retirement I've decided to put this all together as a program and make it available to help other people quit smoking. It will sell for less than the cost of one carton of cigarettes in many places around the country right now, so if you are interested and you'd like to learn a little bit more, click the link now.

You stand nothing to lose. I will tell you that I believe this program works. I literally bet my life on it!

I look forward to seeing you as a non-smoker!

I am an Ex-Smoker!

Hi, my name is Bill, and I'm a regular guy. I'm also an ex-smoker.    I have something that I think you might want to hear. About 15 years ago, I decided to quit smoking. At the time, I decided to take some logical steps and jotted everything down , which is the critical thing here. I documented when I prepared to quit when I stopped smoking, what I did and how I felt. It's been almost 15 years, and I never looked back.     When I quit, I commented to people around me that if I had known it would be this easy to stop smoking, I would not have smoked as long as I did, which was literally decades. Now, as I'm getting near retirement, I thought it would be a good idea for me to put all this information together in a program. It would make it easier for other people to quit too.     Considering the cost that I see today to smoke, which is just shocking for the price with the tax of a carton of cigarettes, the cost to purcha...

How To Stop Smoking with Minimal Cravings

If you want to learn how to stop smoking with minimal cravings, I think I can help. My name is Bill, and I'm an ex-smoker. I quit smoking about 15 years ago. As a smoker, there were just so many things in my life, so many aspects, that everything I did had an added layer, and it had to do with cigarettes. And it had to do with nicotine. Every place I went, every activity I did - literally everything - I had to plan for cigarettes. Smoking cigarettes had to be planned before, during, and after everything so I had to think constantly about the plan for my next cigarette. I believe this actually wears a person out. I'm sure you feel that way as a smoker too. After getting up in the morning, maybe you don't want to smoke in your new car on the way to work. Or maybe you're in a carpool, so you have to have a cigarette before you leave for work, before you get in the carpool vehicle, and when you get to work. Maybe you have to quickly puff away again before you go into your ...

How To Stop Smoking on an Airplane

If you want to learn how to stop smoking on an airplane I think I may be able to help.  My name is Bill and I’m an ex-smoker. I've been an ex-smoker for about 15 years at this point. I remember when I was younger and the first time I ever flew on an airplane larger than a 2-seater. In my case, I didn't fly young, and I never flew as a child or teen, as many people do.I actually was married and had three children, and it was our first trip to Disney World. That was the first time I was actually on a commercial jet. I remember at the time while flying from New York to Florida, that ahead of time, I was very anxious. I wanted a cigarette. I got to the airport and they didn't allow smoking anywhere in the airport. That fed my anxiety and made it really bad for me inside.  Next, we had to wait for a period of time because it was actually in March, and I think they had some icing conditions, and a few things that delayed the plane, which fed my anxiety because I...
