How To Stop Smoking and Drinking

How To Stop Smoking and Drinking

if you want to learn how to stop smoking and drinking, I have some ideas that could help! Let me just turn the clock back because I'm an ex-smoker, and I quit smoking about 15 years ago. I started smoking as a teen, so I remember when I smoked Marlboro Red and enjoyed a few beers at the bars and elsewhere.

Marlboro Red was probably one of the most common cigarettes when I was younger, and it certainly was the cool brand to smoke. It was the image of that brand that smoking them would make you feel strong, like the cowboy used in the ads, taking a moment from his tough job to light up a smoke and enjoy that puff.

How To Stop Smoking and Drinking

So I smoked Marlboro Red because I was influenced by the advertising, although I did change brands from time to time because I was influenced like everybody else by different other cigarette advertising.

There was a time when I smoked Camel non-filters. I tried Winston. I tried Kool. I tried Newport. There was another cigarette that I don't believe is sold in the United States anymore. It was Pall Mall.

Pall Mall had been around forever and their non-filters were longer than Camel, I assume the logic is that if it is longer, it lasts more and provides more for the money.

So why does any of this matter? I remember one time that I went out with some friends to a bar, and I was probably in my early 20s. I was having a nice time, lighting up one Pall Mall non-filter after another, doing one beer after another.

During that night out, I believe I smoked in the area of about two and a half packs two and a half packs of Pall Mall non-filter cigarettes!

The next day I felt horrible! Absolutely horrible! I mean my system had bottomed out, between the beer and the amount of smoke! The nicotine and tar, and everything else from those cigarettes in me, just wiped me out.

There was a big lesson learned after that “fun night!”

Yes, many people like to enjoy a social drink from time to time. Some people go out and drink too much. But if you're also a smoker, you are probably like me.

Every time I ever drank, I smoked a lot more than I would normally have smoked. They seem to go hand in hand. More booze - more smoke!

People can socially drink, without it being a problem. When others drink, it is a problem.

However, almost all people who smoke have a problem.

Yes, it is possible for a handful of people to socially smoke.

But most people that smoke, are not social smokers. They are problem smokers.

Put multiple drinks in a smoker's hand, and you generally have a long, smoke-filled night that does not end well!

Smoking has all the risks that we've talked about in many of these videos, so I'm going to suggest to you that if you like to go out and enjoy a social drink from time to time, and you're a smoker, the best plan in this case to stop smoking and drinking would be to first stop smoking!

If you do like to socially drink and you are a smoker I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. You've probably experienced those times when you might normally have had several cigarettes from the time you left work until when you went to bed.

Then that night arrived when you smoked the pack while having a few drinks, and then you probably felt pretty miserable afterward.

I suggest if you want better health, have more money in your pocket, feel better overall, and still enjoy a drink from time to time, click one of the links around this video.

There are also a few crucial steps to take before quitting smoking that certainly helped me. I cover these in the program that I developed which is talked about more below. Doing this in order ahead of time makes the process less difficult, at least in my opinion.

There is a critical step in my opinion that most people miss before they stop smoking. I think this part really sets somebody up for success, not failure.

If you're very concerned about the difficulty, or how hard it will be to quit smoking, and how you'll feel, I think the best thing to do is to find a plan and let somebody lead that there's already quit smoking. Plus, find out what the critical step is to stop smoking without difficulty.

When I quit about 15 years ago, I wrote down everything that I did to prepare to stop smoking, I wrote down how I felt, and I wrote down what worked.

Now, 15 years later, as I get near retirement I've decided to put this all together as a program and make it available to help other people quit smoking. It will sell for less than the cost of one carton of cigarettes in many places around the country right now, so if you are interested and you'd like to learn a little bit more, click the link now.

You stand nothing to lose. I will tell you that I believe this program works.

I literally bet my life on it!

I look forward to seeing you as a non-smoker!

I am an Ex-Smoker!

Hi, my name is Bill, and I'm a regular guy. I'm also an ex-smoker.    I have something that I think you might want to hear. About 15 years ago, I decided to quit smoking. At the time, I decided to take some logical steps and jotted everything down , which is the critical thing here. I documented when I prepared to quit when I stopped smoking, what I did and how I felt. It's been almost 15 years, and I never looked back.     When I quit, I commented to people around me that if I had known it would be this easy to stop smoking, I would not have smoked as long as I did, which was literally decades. Now, as I'm getting near retirement, I thought it would be a good idea for me to put all this information together in a program. It would make it easier for other people to quit too.     Considering the cost that I see today to smoke, which is just shocking for the price with the tax of a carton of cigarettes, the cost to purcha...

Learn To Stop Smoking - To Go To Movies

Learn To Stop Smoking - To Go To Movies If you want to learn to stop smoking to go to movies, I think I can help. My name is Bill and I’m an ex-smoker. I quit smoking about 15 years ago, but I remember going to movies when I was a smoker, and I remember all the challenges that it posed. To set this up for younger people, when I was a young cigarette smoker, most movie theaters allowed smoking. It was kind of a common practice that movie theaters back then were larger, and they weren't the multiplexes that we have these days. Very typically, there'd be a balcony section, and a lower section and the balcony section would be the section for smokers. Some theaters were only one level, so generally the back so the back 20 rows or so would be reserved for smokers. The rest of the theater was for non-smokers.  Now I'm sure that if you were anywhere near that line, and you were a non-smoker, the smokers certainly won out in that battle of the smoke! Considering the amount of smok...
